Masa Mesa is a Latin American restaurant in Nedlands celebrating Chef Erick Martinez’s El Salvadoran roots and his wife Lara’s Argentinian heritage. Inspired by childhood memories of home cooked food and years spent travelling through Latin America, the menu is a tribute to the flavours they grew up with, where every dish tells a story.

A dream two decades in the making, Masa Mesa invites diners to gather around the mesa, the Spanish word for table, and experience the vibrancy of Latin American street food in Perth. The menu showcases the bold flavours of the region, from handmade pupusas and moreish empanadas to punchy tacos and smoky asado cooked over the parrilla. These are dishes designed for sharing, paired with house made Horchata, refreshing Agua Fresca and classic Latin cocktails with a twist.

Chef Erick has spent years working in some of Perth’s leading kitchens including Tiny’s, Duende, Andaluz Bar and Tapas and Lawson Flats. Now he brings his bold flavours and refined techniques to Nedlands with a Perth restaurant built around sharing Latino culture, bringing people together and serving comforting, flavour packed dishes inspired by Latin America.
